Second phase of pilot project handed over to HP-Pelzer |
HP-Pelzer in Mladá Boleslav has been handed the second phase of a pilot project directed to collect data for monitoring parameters and efficiency of production of a production line L2. The aim of the project is to create a basis for a system of data collection on production that can be evaluated by means of the system MES MERZ, in such a way that it will be possible to expand it to other workplaces and subdivisions of the HP-Pelzer Group.
The main benefits of this solution include:
- Savings due to the reduction of idle time.
- Savings due to the detection and correction of narrow places, through the increase of OEE (Overall equipment effectiveness) of a machine.
- The reduction of administration and error rate when reporting on the production.
- Supporting information for the introduction of the methodology TOC and lean manufacturing.
- Immediate information about the condition of a workplace and the possibility to create other reports.
- The possibility to interlink information on idle time with preventive maintenance.
- The possibility of building a whole-plant data basis with a wide potential for application.
